Mr. Mitchell graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of West Los
Angeles Law School. He has practiced workers’ compensation defense law for over
four decades, having represented a variety of clients including insurance carriers, third-party administrators, public entities, and self-insured employers. His experience includes acting as President of the Southern California Council of Self-Insurers for a year. Mr. Mitchell is married and has five children. His hobbies are scuba diving, freediving for lobsters and fish, and golf. He is fluent in Spanish.
