Daniel K. Robbins
Mr. Robbins graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Mr. Robbins is the Managing Partner of the San Diego branch of the firm. He has extensive civil and workers’ compensation experience. Prior to joining Wai & Connor, he practiced workers’ compensation defense at Grancell, Lebovitz, Stander, Barnes & Reubens in Los Angeles. Mr. Robbins is a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Sabrkhani graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law and Society. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where he was awarded the Witkin Award for Civil Procedure and Community Property. He is admitted to practice in all California State courts and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Orange County Bar Association.
Mr. Saremi attended the California State University, Long Beach, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law at Argosy University, where he earned certificates of recognition from the Institute on International & Comparative Law and as a volunteer in Income Tax Assistance. He has extensive trial experience in workers’ compensation, having succeeded on several take-nothing cases. He is admitted to practice in all California State courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Saremi is bilingual in English and Farsi. His personal interests include surfing, motorcycles, camping, and hiking.
Ms. Shibata graduated cum laude from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where she was on the dean’s list and earned Witkin Awards for excellence in Community Property, Real Property, and Family Law. She has extensive workers’ compensation experience, having worked for applicants’ attorneys since 1998 as a paralegal, associate, then partner at her prior firm. Ms. Shibata’s interests include playing softball, running half marathons, and deep sea fishing. She is fluent in American Sign Language.
Mr. Tabachnik graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, after which he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School. While attending Cornell Law School, Mr. Tabachnik was Managing Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal. His prior experience includes civil litigation and appellate work. Mr. Tabachnik is admitted to practice law in all California State courts.
Ms. Wai is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, cum laude, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Mathematics. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. Ms. Wai has extensive experience in the field of workers’ compensation, including representation of applicants. She served on the State Bar of California Workers’ Compensation Law Section Executive Committee from 1995 to 1997 and as Co-Chair of the Education Section. For eight years, she was selected as an outstanding attorney by the Thomson Reuters rating service Super Lawyers®.
Dale R. Wilkins
After graduating with honors from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, Mr. Wilkins went on to gain two decades of experience in California workers’ compensation defense before joining Wai & Connor. His background includes litigation, management, training and instruction, and legal publishing. Mr. Wilkins has practiced as a senior trial attorney at Mullen & Filippi, an attorney supervisor and managing attorney for Zenith Insurance Company, in-house counsel for Applied Underwriters, and managing editor at LexisNexis Group. Before attending law school, Mr. Wilkins was employed by two federal agencies. He served as a law enforcement ranger for the National Park Service (NPS) and worked for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for the Department of the Interior. Mr. Wilkins is active in civic affairs in Livermore, California and spends his free time with his spouse, Debbie, and their family. He enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, biking, traveling, and attending Bay Area sporting events.
